Our Wonderful Staff

The Center is manned by regular staff and a host of volunteers, as well as a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board that oversees operations at the Center. The operations of the Center are under the direct management of Sister Carol Weber, OP, Director and Sister Judy Blake, CSJ Associate Director. Support staff assists with clerical, housekeeping and maintenance.

Sister Carol Weber Sister Carol Weber, OP is the Director of the Center and a member of the Board of Directors. She is program director, business operations director and manager of daily affairs.
Sister Judy Blake Sister Judy Blake, CSJ is the Associate Director of the Center as well as a Board of Directors member. She seeks grants, monitors the grants and networks with community organizations.
Sister Janice Popilek Sister Janice Popilek, CSJ is the director of the After-School Program and Associate Director of the Adult Literacy Program which began in 2007. The After-School Tutoring Program and Adult Literacy Program offer one-on-one learning experiences.
Sister Rita Berby Sister Rita Berby, CSJ is the Director of Street Ministry. She oversees the sorting of donated clothing, blankets, toys and household items. These items are distributed monthly, free of charge, on the streets of Flint.
Receptionist Alan Alan, receptionist, and multi-tasker. He's always smiling and willing to lend a hand!
